Giant Panda Breeding Research Base 成都大熊猫繁育研究基地
Located 8 km northeast of downtown Chengu, the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base is a great place to view both the giant and red pandas.
History
Founded in 1987, the Panda Base has around 80 giant pandas and other species of endangered animals.
For a fee visitors can be photographed with the animals and a museum on site provides information with English captions on the loveable animals.
