Beijing Tours Recommendations
We were greeted at the airport in Beijing by Mr. Jin (driver) at 12:30 in the morning. He took us directly to our hotel for check in and returned next morning at 9 am sharp as requested. He may not speak a lot of English but he definitely understood when we spoke (considering our Caribbean accent). He was reliable and got along well with our teenage son. He also gave us good advice about shopping and restaurants and tips about the various tours we took.
In Xi'An we were greeted by Lee Lin a young university graduate who spoke very good English. She was very polite and helpful. One time she even advised that we return an antique item that we purchased and she recommended we purchase the same item at less than half the price from another vendor. She was also very knowledgeable about the historical sites in Xi'An.
Both Mr. Jin and LeeLin were always prompt, patient and accommodating to our last minute changes. Unlike most reports I heard of tour guides taking visitors to shops and factories - we did not ever have this problem. Huntours also arranged all the airport pickups and drop offs for Beijing and Xi'An.
