Ming Tombs, Beijing, China

Beijing's Ming Tombs are the resting place of a succession of Chinese emperors. Emperor Yongle's tomb, Changling, was the first to be built, and remains the most impressive. In layout and architecture it resembles a miniature version of the Forbidden City.
