CCTV Tower Under Construction, Beijing, China
Beijing's modern architecture includes such iconic buildings as Rem Koolhaas and Ole Scheeren's CCTV Tower in Beijing's CBD. Often called "Big Pants" by locals the building serves as the main headquarters for China Central Television in Beijing's Central Business District. Completed in 2012 and officially opened in 2013, the 51-story tower accommodates over 10,000 employees, broadcasting studios, and offices.
