Xiamen Egret Stadium in Xiamen, Fujian Province is a modern 60,000 capacity stadium originally built for the 2023 Asian Cup. The stadium was the venue for a World Cup qualifying match between China and Japan in November 2024.

It is used for both soccer, athletics and as a concert venue. As an athletics stadium, the venue has a capacity of 53,443 people. The athletics track features ten 100 meter lanes.

The modern infrastructure is right next to the sea so provides very beautiful external views. The stadium has an inverted U shape, with tall stands in the east and west and low stands in north and south. Located just 200 meters away from the sea, an open space of 80 meters is left at the stadium, so that two-thirds of the spectators can see the beautiful sea view outside.

Also part of the state-of-the-art complex is the Phoenix Gymnasium with a capacity of 18,000 seats.

Xiamen International Airport is 12 kilometers north east from central Xiamen and connects the city with many other Chinese cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Macau, as well as some international destinations including Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, Nagoya, Osaka, Penang, Seoul, Singapore and Tokyo.
Flights from Beijing to Xiamen take around 2 hours.
Trains are not recommended as it currently takes around 34 hours from Beijing West Railway Station (K306/K307).
Xiamen Island and Gulangyu Island are connected by ferry.
Taxis are metered and the fare from the airport into town is around 30-40 RMB.
