Wan Chai (灣仔) on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong is a major retail and entertainments area. Wan Chai's Lockhart Road and Jaffe Road are filled with foreigner-friendly bars and pubs. Lockhart Road is lined with diverse restaurants, from local eateries to international cuisine. It is also known as a shopping spot, close to the Tai Yuen Street Toy Market. Nearby Jaffe Road visitors can find the Pak Tai Temple (built in 1863) and the Old Wan Chai Post Office, which is the oldest surviving post office building in Hong Kong.
