Causeway Bay on the eastern side of Hong Kong Island is a pleasant water side location close to Victoria Park and the Hong Kong Stadium. Causeway Bay is a trendy retail area with such shopping plazas as the 13-story Japanese department store Sogo, Times Square and the World Trade Centre. Sino Plaza (pictured) is the towering building with a distinctive postmodern design, rising 38 floors to a height of 185 metres (607 ft).
