Dali In Clouds, China
Dali (大理) in Yunnan has been popular with foreign tourists for a generation. The Cangshan Mountains and Erhai Lake are two of the area's many natural attractions. Erhai Lake, a stunning alpine fault lake in Dali, Yunnan, is known for its distinctive ear-like shape, pristine plateau scenery, and its role as the "mother lake" to the local Bai ethnic community. Situated at over 1,972 meters in altitude, this "Pearl of the Plateau" is set against the scenic backdrop of the Cangshan Mountains.
