Cao Mu Jian

Set in an elegant atmosphere with wooden screens and draped fabrics and stream with green plants this is a restaurant to relax the soul as you dine.
Try the Ku Jin Gan Lai, sliced balsam pear stuffed with taro and sweets giving it a bitter, sweet taste. Many dishes are named after meat dishes but use tofu as the base.

Elaine's Vegetarian Restaurant and Bar

This delightful restaurant set on the banks of Luoma Lake out in the Shunyi District, not so far from the airport and Olympic rowing venue offers fresh supplies from the garden. The servings are generous with imitation meat dishes available.

Xu Xiang Zhai Restaurant

Located close to the Confucius Temple this restaurant displays many classical music instruments with recordings of traditional music playing in the background. There is a buffet served for lunch costing 48rmb per person. Popular a la carte dishes include a clover roll, Japanese sushi, Korean style grills, Asian curries and French salads. Food is both delicious and healthy with no meat or oil used.
